All i know this is being celebrated each year and first thing in my mind speaking of October is more beer. I don’t know, but this is what i have observed where most people is having fun and ‘Party, Party’ in every corner of the street.
Here in Cebu, mostly young adults goes bar hopping, drink alot of beer and have fun with their partners. Dancing all over the night and become tipsy or worst being drunk.
This celebration where you can only avail beer promos and other gigs offered from various clubs, restaurants and bars. Where competition is eyed by many, given a mug of beer each participants must empty the mug drinking a beer nonstop. Whoever finished first will be the winner.
For my own opinion, i don’t really drink alot and i don’t care about the celebration as im not fun of it. I just stay at home watching TV or sleep.
But what im interested of is the upcoming town fiesta in our city. Which also fall on October, I don’t know, i felt so much excited during this yearly event. Maybe because this is what im used to when i was young. More friends and love ones are coming in eat our house.. ooopss! did i say eat our house? haha nope. I mean come over and join us celebrating the feast of Sta. Teresa de Avila. We all have much food to eat and everybody is happy hehe.
One thing i never forget, hmm that was last year during the feast where i have invited some of my team mates and not knowing that my mom and dad was waiting for me. They won’t start eating without me left behind. So embarassing because they also have their visitors waiting and couldn’t eat because im still not yet at home. I told them that you can go ahead and we’ll be right there, but still they have waited.
I was surprise when i got home they look so very hungry and pale and it was already 9pm in the evening. I said ok everybody lets eat and that the food was almost empty. More gate crashers came in and unfortunately, we are out of stocks. haha
