I was invited by a friend with all the rest of his group to try zipline. I was very excited as i have never been tried such adventure in my whole life. We went to Adventure Cafe at Gaas, Balamban Cebu.
When we get there, here are some of the activities you can try with: zipline, rapelling, wall, climbing, stress wall – throwing plates into the wall, rope courses, guide tours and many more.
How to get there? Check this out:
We went to Citilink Terminal to take a ride going to Balamban and its just a hundred bucks fare from Cebu City to Gaas, Balamban. Travel time will take 45minutes to an hour before you get there. The resto is just at the roadside so you will never get lost and its out the question.
The weather was so good, the sky is clear yet the temperature is cold for about 18-20 degress celcius. I forgot to bring my jacket and never expect it was that cold up there as it is located at the top of the mountain. Good to say i easily get used to the climate as i was already accustomed to airconditioned environment in the office(call center industry).
One of the owner Nigel Wenceslao greeted us when we arrived at Adventure Cafe. They were very accomodating and very hospitable employees. When we get inside the resto, i noticed a fireplace in every level of the place. I never expect, sun is up yet so cold during noontime.
I get the chance to speak to Nigel Wenceslao and he told me that, “You don’t have to go to Bagiuo or Tagaytay just to experience a cold climate, its just few minutes to an hour ride from downtime”.
During our visit, Nigel had to excuse himself to attend other guests which we didn’t mind knowing how busy he was. I was really glad despite how busy he was, he still have the courage to accomodate us no matter how tired the whole day welcoming guests and visitors.
For me the place is really nice and good for family adventure, friends bonding, teambuildings and other group activities will do.
