Feast of Sta. Teresa de Avila
On the 15th of October 2011, Talisay City celebrated the Feast of their patron saint Sta. Teresa de Avila.
At home we are busy preparing for the eve. My mom cooked a lot of food, my mom’s sister and nephew helped her in the kitchen. Me and my dad bought a single lechon, enough to cater almost 50 heads. I help cleaning the house arrange the tables and chairs for the evening event. I invited my colleagues and friends to come over for dinner at my place. It was a night, i didn’t expect huge crowds to flock together at home. We only invited a few, but im not surprise as i was really expecting more people to come so its ok, food was enough for them.
I almost unable to focus my attention to my colleagues and friends as i was very busy serving other visitors who came one after the other. So i just came by to sit for awhile with them and do quick chats, then excuse myself to serve other guests.
Below are the pictures taken by my colleagues during the event, i was so tired yet i did managed to welcome them all and it was a night for me.
I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to those who came and join us with the celebration. Thank you and you guys acknowledged my invitation.
Until next year, Viva Sta. Teresa de Avila!
I also would like to take this opportunity to greet my Dad Francis F. Tayong who celebrated his 47th Birthday on the 10th of October, my auntie Margie Eberhardt and Marlou Tayong who celebrated their birthdays as well on the 17th of the current month.
To my mom who exerted her effort to cook the food, Mom it was awesome and my colleagues appreciate your specialties. Infairness, they are all delicious. Love you mama!
